At the end of 2016, we told you that we had big plans for 2017.  One of those plans is the one we’re presenting today, this first day of 2017, with an example we prepared on the last day of 2016.

It’s a new section of videos that we’re calling “Points of View”.  It’s a section where we’re going to offer snapshots of different points or “moments” of our country. Sometimes, they’ll be “Standalone” videos; other times, previews or parts of larger videos that will take a closer look at points in our country that seem interesting or attractive. Because, this is our other resolution for 2017, we’re going to get our “Basques on Holiday” section going on a regular basis, after having previewed it with a morning in Orduña.

Today, as an example, and to start off that video series, we want to leave you with this take on the Bay of Biscay, at the mouth of the Bilbao Estuary and the Outer Port.

This footage was taken at a point in the Biscayne municipality of Getxo, which is full of history, and which gives us an amazing vantage point of the whole bay: Aixerrota Windmill.
