On November 5, we were invited to Onda Vasca radio, where we’re starting up a new and exciting activity for our blog: we’re going to be a regular guest on the program Atsalde Pasa (Spend Some Time)!
From now until they get fed up with us, every Wednesday at 5:40pm, we’ll have 20 minutes to talk abou the stories and news we’ve been collecting on our blog. We just turned eight years old, and we’re just about to top 6,000 entries discussing a huge range of events and tales.
We’re thrilled to get to share these stories on Onda Vasca, as Kike Alonso, Begoña Jiménez, Fork, and all the program’s listeners were able to find out. Today, our first day on the show, we had to start with a splash, which we did by talking about John Adams, one of the co-writers of the US Declaration of Independence, Founding Father, and second president, and John Quincy Adams, the country’s sixth president, who had a very interesting story with the Basques in Bilbao.
After every show, we’ll share the audio recording, and some of the blog references to the things we talked about.
If you’d like to listen to the show live, here’s where you can find it on your dial:
If you’re not near a radio, or live outside the coverage area, you can also listen to it on their website.
