Aurreko sarreretan iragarri genuen bezala, Migrazioen Europako Elkartearen (AEMI) 31. Konferentzia Donostian egingo da. Edizio hau Kanpoko Euskal Komunitaterako Zuzendaritzak (Eusko Jaurlaritza) antolatu du, 17 herrialdetako pertsona bertaratuko dira eta internet bidez jarraitu ahal izango da.

Irailaren 30etik urriaren 1era bitartean Donostiako Miramar Jauregian egingo den Konferentziaren izenburua hau da: “Diasporen eta harrera-herrialdeen arteko harremanak: migrazio berriak, itzulera-mugimenduak eta testuinguru historikoa”.

Aurreko sarreretan iragarri genuen bezala, inaugurazio-ekitaldia bihar izango da, 9:00etan, Marian Elorza Eusko Jaurlaritzako Kanpo Harremanetarako idazkari nagusiaren eta Cathrine Kyo Hermansen AEMIko lehendakariaren eskutik.

Konferentzia horretako hizlari nagusia Kingsley Aikins irlandarra izango da, Dublingo Trinity Collegen Ekonomia eta Politiketan lizentziatua, eta “Connecting diasporas” (Diasporak lotzen) mintzaldiarekin hasiko du. Aikins sei herrialdetan bizi eta lan egin du merkataritzaren eta inbertsioaren, filantropiaren, hezkuntzaren, diasporaren eta turismoaren arloan, eta erakunde, gobernu eta herrialde garrantzitsuentzat lan egin du.

Nazioarteko Konferentzia honetan parte hartuko duten analistak Alemaniatik, Andaluziatik, Argentinatik, Bretainia frantsesetik, Danimarkatik, AEBetatik, Esloveniatik, Euskal Herritik, Flandesetik, Galiziatik, Irlandatik, Luxenburgotik, Poloniatik, Erresuma Batutik eta Valentziatik datoz.
