We’ve blogged about the New England Basque Club on other occasions. It’s a group of Basques and friends of Basques that is active and imaginative. As we’ve said before, they’re the ones who put together the biggest Basque festival on the East Coast.
Now, they’re bringing us yet another bit of joy by reminding us that those who’d like to learn or practice Basque and live in that area can take the classes they’re promoting. You can find out information about these classes on their Facebook page, dating from at least 2015.
This year, the classes are from 7:00 to 8:00 Monday evenings at Harvard. That’s definitely a perfect place to study what is undoubtedly the oldest language in Europe, the language of the “aboriginal Europeans”.
