When we saw the photos and were told that they were a model of Chanel boot, we couldn’t believe it. It seemed impossible to us, but when we visited the French designer’s website, we saw that it was indeed true. These boots do exist, and they’re on sale right now, under the name “Boots, Shearling & Crackled Sheepskin”.
They’re part of the brand’s fall-winter collection, and although the price isn’t shown on the site, we have found them out there for up to $3,000. Right now, you can still see some of the looks shown off on the runway which included these boots.
So, we’re sure that these boots did not find (or did they?) any inspiriation in our traditional abarca sandals. But either way, there’s certainly a resemblance. Plus a lot more glamour and an inch of heel.
