El Txakoli en el New York Times

Sí, lo sabemos, se trata de una entrada ¿vieja?, publicada el 10 de agosto en el New York Times. Pero tenemos dos razones para incluirla hoy. La primera, es que en aquellos momentos este blog estaba en “parada técnica” y, por lo tanto, no pudo aparecer en su momento. La segunda es que es un amplio e interesante reportaje, acompañado de un post en el blog del autor del reportaje (tambien dentro del NYT). Por esas dos razones, creemos que merece la pena que lo incluyamos estas páginas. Además y esto es lo más importante, se trata de un gran reportaje.

Txakolina, a Tongue-Twisting Name for Simple Pleasure

Basque Country Wines

My column this week is about the tangy, lively wine from the Basque Country, known variously as Txakolina, Txakoli or Chacoli.

Aside from the fact that I like it, I became interested because this wine with three different difficult-to-pronounce names, made largely from a grape that nobody has ever heard of, the hondarrabi zuri, has established a strong niche in the United States. (sigue)
